Postpartum Recovery Research Study

Research Title: A 40-Day Observational Pilot Study on Postpartum Recovery Practices in the United States

Study Period: Births occurring before May 1st, 2026
Eligibility: You may participate if you:

• Are currently pregnant and have a confirmed due date (or planned delivery date) before May 1st, 2026
• Plan to give birth in the United States
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Are willing and able to complete daily brief journal entries and three short surveys over the first 40 days postpartum

This independent pilot study aims to document real-world postpartum recovery experiences and evaluate the feasibility and perceived efficacy of a structured, non-pharmacological 40-day recovery protocol rooted in traditional and evidence-informed practices. Findings will inform future large-scale research to improve postpartum care for American women.

If you choose to enroll, you will receive at no cost:

• The complete copyrighted 40-Day Postpartum Recovery Program (digital materials and guidance)
• One 20 minute telehealth orientation and check-in with Zoe Weston
• Upon full completion of the study you will receive a $100 Amazon Gift Card

• Complete a short daily journal entry (electronic) for 40 consecutive days postpartum
• Complete three brief online surveys (baseline, day 20, and day 40)
• Participate in one scheduled 20 minute telehealth appointment
• Do your best to follow the entire healing protocol, – to the best of your ability

• This study involves no pharmaceutical drugs, supplements required for purchase, or invasive procedures.
• Participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without penalty.
• All data will be de-identified and kept strictly confidential. No individually identifiable information will be published or shared.
• This is an independent research study and is not affiliated with any university, hospital, or government institution.
